Product Description

Shall consist of clean 18-8 type stainless steel clips and solids containing a minimum 7% nickel, 16% chrome, and have a maximum of .50% molybdenum, .50% copper, .045% phosphorous, and .03% sulfur, and otherwise free of harmful contaminants.

  • SS-304- Stainless Steel 304 Grade scrap has a minimum of 18% chromium and 8% nickel and has a maximum carbon of 0.07% and 2% Molybdenum, 1% Silicon.
  • SS-310- Stainless Steel 310 Grade scrap contains 24-26% Chromium,19-22% Nickel,0.25% Carbon,, Mn-2, Si-1.5, S-0.03, P-0.045
  • SS-316- This grade contains Chromium-16-18% & 10-14% Nickel. Remaining is Carbon which is 0.035%, Mn-2%, Si-1%, S-0.03%, P-0.045%, Mo-2-3%
  • SS-309- This grade contains Chromium-22-24%, 12-15% Nickel, 0.02% Carbon, 2% Mn, 1% Silicon, 0.03% S, 0.045% Phosphorus.
